| “Spring is Here” a grate Cd, full of swing, with a gorgeous voice, and a salid band sound, assuming risks that not all established singers dare to assume. In this Cd splendid versions of "Nature Boy" and "Eleanor Rigby" can be found. It is never easy to interpretate Beatles, but, chapeau!!.... Her grate voice, her swing feeling and her capacity to lead her own band deserve the attention of the Spanish jazz circuit For sure she will be one of the best references of the Spanish Jazz in this XXI century. “Spring is Here” her new Cd rich in textures and nuances, by a voice full of personality and a group that fills each harmony they describe with colors, blending perfectly in a simple way, with Anna’s scat that once again emanates from the vocal cords of this excellent singer. This cd “Spring is Here” is a recording that proves she is one of the best voices from Spanish Jazz, and I hope she and her Group will be performing in The 3rd Jazz Festival of SpañJazz in Alfredo Kraus Auditorium of Las Palmas de Gran Canaria. Enjoy this delightful recording, I guarantee, after first hearing you won’t stop listening to it again and again. Jesús Santana (Revista Jazz, January 2006) |
